About the Role
As a Frontend Developer at Novami, you will build user-facing web applications, responsive customer portals, and interactive dashboards. You will work closely with our UI/UX designers and backend engineers to transform Figma designs and API specifications into fast, type-safe, and accessible digital experiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Build responsive and pixel-perfect web interfaces from design systems and requirements.
- Develop reusable, modular, and type-safe frontend components.
- Integrate frontend client applications with RESTful and GraphQL backend APIs.
- Optimize web applications for performance, sub-second load times, and Core Web Vitals.
- Ensure cross-browser, cross-platform, and mobile device responsiveness.
- Collaborate closely with product designers, backend developers, and QA engineers.
- Debug, profile, and resolve frontend performance and rendering issues.
- Maintain clean, documented, and testable code following enterprise standards.
- Participate actively in sprint planning, agile standups, and peer code reviews.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Strong foundation in HTML5, modern CSS3, and JavaScript (ES6+).
- Hands-on experience with React (or equivalent modern component-based framework).
- Proficiency in responsive web design, mobile-first CSS, and CSS Grid/Flexbox.
- Experience using Git and collaborative version control workflows.
- Understanding of asynchronous JavaScript, REST APIs, and client-side data fetching.
- Strong problem-solving ability, attention to detail, and a collaborative mindset.
Nice to Have (Optional)
- Experience with TypeScript and strict type-safe codebases.
- Familiarity with Next.js (App Router, Server Components, SSR/SSG).
- Understanding of Tailwind CSS design systems and UI token architecture.
- Basic knowledge of UI/UX accessibility standards (WCAG) and Core Web Vitals optimization.
- Experience with automated frontend testing (Jest, React Testing Library, or Playwright).
